Vincenzo Losito

 

General Manager & Production

Vincenzo Losito (1990) has been the General Manager of the Equilibrio Dinamico Repertory Dance Company since 2019; since 2015 he has been responsible for the production and distribution of all the company’s activities.

In 2014, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Literature – Theatre Studies from the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, with a thesis in Ancient Greek Literature entitled Theatre Festivals: A Perspective on Ancient Greece and the Contemporary Age. He subsequently continued his studies in Economics and Management of Cultural Tourism Services at the Faculty of Economics of the same university.

Between 2015 and 2016, he undertook professional training through the “Organization Open” programme at the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi in Milan. In 2021, he graduated with highest honours from the Master’s programme in Live Performance Entrepreneurship at Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna, and in 2024 he continued his academic path with a Master’s degree in Performing Arts Studies at the University of Bari.

Between 2014 and 2016, he came into contact with some of Italy’s most significant theatre and performing arts festivals, including Santarcangelo dei Teatri, Primavera dei Teatri, and Castel dei Mondi. These experiences helped consolidate his interest in the management and organisation of live performance and laid the foundations for the creation, in 2015, of the first Fringe Festival in Puglia (Apulia Fringe Festival), supported by the Municipality of Andria, the National Association of Theatre Critics, Puglia Culture and Fringe Italia.

From 2016 to 2021, as Head of Distribution, he collaborated with Sciara Progetti, Enzo Toma, Christian Di Domenico, Andrea Mazzacavallo, Compagnia del Sole, and with theatre companies Straligut Teatro, VicoQuartoMazzini, and Compagnia Licia Lanera.

Since 2017, he has been responsible for the Operators and Guests Office of the In-Box dal Vivo festival, directed by Straligut Teatro in Siena. Since 2018, he has been involved in Audience Development projects for Equilibrio Dinamico, promoted by Puglia Culture across numerous partner municipalities.

Since 2022, he has been a lecturer in “Organisation and Production of Live Performance” within the biennial Higher Technical Education programme for Specialised Technicians in Performing Arts and Management in Bari, promoted by the Regional ITS Foundation of Puglia.

In 2022, he produced the documentary La Vlora – The Face of Hospitality, funded by the Puglia Region within the Interreg IPA CBC Italy–Albania–Montenegro 2014–2020 programme, co-financed by the European Union (IPA II).

Since 2022, he has been the Artistic and Organisational Director of the project Abitare, conceived by Equilibrio Dinamico in collaboration with the international festival Castel dei Mondi, Puglia Culture and the Municipality of Andria.

Since 2023, he has produced “Dietro le quinte”, a theatre engagement format for upper secondary school students, implemented in the municipalities of Bari and Fasano in collaboration with Puglia Culture.

For the years 2024 and 2025, he serves as Artistic and Organisational Director of the project Tracce di Sale, promoted by the Municipality of Bari – Department of Culture and funded by the Italian Ministry of Culture and the Department for Southern Cohesion Policies, through POC and PON Metro funds.
