The performance focuses on the increasingly blurred boundaries between the real world and the virtual one.
Dependence on technology has completely transformed the way we interact with people and with the tangible world around us. The virtual realm becomes ever more realistic thanks to tactile feedback, artificial intelligence, and algorithms that gather information from individuals through their inputs. Older generations claim to have grown up in a “Jurassic era,” though even they would struggle without technologies as simple as electricity.
How do we use technology to feed our ego?
How do we use technology to build unique bonds with others—or to manipulate strangers?
