/ BIO VINCENZO LOSITO

Vincenzo Losito was born in Andria in 1990. In 2014 he earned a BA in Humanities, History of Theatre pathway, at the University of Bari, with a research dissertation in Ancient Greek literature titled “Theatrical Festivals: Ancient Greece and Contemporary Age”. He continued his studies and earned a BSc in Cultural Tourism Planning and Management. Alongside his studies from 2011 to 2015 he worked for important Italian Festivals such as Castel dei Mondi, Primavera dei Teatri, Santarcangelo dei Teatri, Puglia Showcase. In 2015 and 2016 he furthered his education by attending Open Classes in Live Show Planning at Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi in Milan. In 2015 he worked as an intern for the Planning Office for prose and dance activities of the Consortium Pugliese Public Theatre. This experience was the foundation for his interest in the management and organisational side of theatre, and led to his realisation, direction, and management of the first Fringe Festival in Puglia: Apulia Fringe Festival took place with the support of the City of Andria, the National Association of Theatre Critics, Pugliese Public Theatre, and Fringe Italy. Since 2014 started the collaboration as manager of the organisational and management processes of Equilibrio Dinamico Dance Company and Educational Experience Ensemble programme, directed by Roberta Ferrara. As freelance promoter he oversaw the promotion of Theatre for Young Audiences in schools of any grade, and of individual artists and companies. Among these: Sciara Progetti, Enzo Toma, Christian di Domenico, Andrea Mazzacavallo, Compagnia del Sole, Straligut Teatro, Vico Quarto Mazzini, and Compagnia Licia Lanera. From 2017 he is in charge of the Office for Staff and Guests of Festival In-Box dal Vivo directed by Compagnia Straligut Teatro in Siena. From 2018 he oversees Equilibrio Dinamico’s project “Audience Development” promoted by Pugliese Public Theatre. Currently, Vincenzo Losito is the Project Manager and Tour Manager for Equilibrio Dinamico, managing both national and international, public and private relations.
